The Principal, Roemichs International Schools,
Ilorin, Mr. Kevin Massey says the school is committed to building a fully
educated and morally, culturally, spiritually and academically sound men and
women who will always take responsibility for their actions and inactions.
Mr. Massey stated this when fielding questions from
Pressmen in his office, during the March edition of the school’s Open Day
programme.

The Principal added that no pupil or student can
graduate from the school if his or her integrity, uprightness, honesty,
tenacity, self-discipline, good health (in body and mind), thoughtfulness and sense
of service to others are still questionable.
He said, “The essence of the Open Day is to open
Roemichs International Schools’ gate to the general public to witness, first
hand, her 21st century education facilities which embrace the
principle that a man is a product of his environment”.
This, he added, prompted the founders to locate the school,
which was founded in September 2006, in a serene, beautiful, attractive and
child-friendly environment which is conducive to teaching and learning. Supported
by state-of-the -art facilities such as computer-driven interactive white
boards in all classrooms and laboratories.

All these, Mr. Kevin Massey said, are geared towards
the delivery of the National Curriculum of England and Wales while also fulfilling the
requirements set out by the National Policy of Education in Nigeria and meeting
the Syllabi of West African Examinations in a bid to challenge the
children to attain their highest potential in whatever they do now and in the
future with the ability to succeed in a highly competitive world.
“As we
are not just an International school in name, we integrate all that is best from
the International, British, Nigerian and West African system. This also broadens
both the horizons and opportunities of our students, especially with the
inclusion of both National Examinations (NECO, WAEC and JAMB) and International

Principal stressed that the school’s aims and objectives include developing right-thinking

Differentiation. Roemichs’ fresh and
vibrant approach is also designed to expose the children to relevant Vocational Studies
and Entrepreneurship Skills towards becoming Job creators and not job seekers.
This,
he emphasized, won the school the 1st place award in the 2012 and 2014
Kwara State Entrepreneurship Competition and the 2nd
place award in the 2015 competition, whilst the school has
also won various National and International Awards.

fortunate enough to have a strong and vibrant Parents and Teachers Association
(ROSPA)”.
