Roemichs is the best gift a child can get-Principal

The Principal of Roemichs International Schools Ilorin, Mr. Kevin Massey, has debunked the rumour that the school is only meant for a selected few, stressing that any parent who values qualitative and all-round education, should patronize the school.

He stated this when he led the school’s management team on a courtesy visit to the management of Unilorin 89.3 FM at the University of Ilorin premises.

Mr. Massey who described the rumour as a gimmick aimed at discrediting the school said, Roemichs, which operates both national and international curricula, is the cheapest private international school in the continent of Africa.

“Even though we offer one of the best Early years, Primary and Secondary school education in the world, our school fees are attractive and affordable,”

He added that “Some people are even saying that Roemichs only accepts Dollars and Euro for her school fees, but the majority of our parents, who are Nigerian, pay in Naira and we only accept dollars or euro equivalent of our school fees when the parent wishes to pay with such”.

Mr. Kevin Massey lamented the low percentage of Kwarans patronizing the school, adding that the school was strategically sited in the state to benefit Kwara State, Kwarans and residence in and around the state.

In his address, the Head of Secondary School, Mr. Gideon Isadare, said that since Roemichs’ target is to create internationally relevant students, the school has been organizing international examinations for both her Primary and Secondary arms in addition to the National Examinations.

He emphasized that the school’s plan is to use Unilorin 89.3 FM, which is the first 24 hour Campus Radio in Nigeria, to showcase the talents of her pupils and students.

Responding, the General Manager, Unilorin 89.3 FM, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Durodola lauded Roemichs initiative for being the first organization, within Kwara State, to pay the station a courtesy visit and promised to always collaborate with the school in all of her activities.

While describing Roemichs as one of the best in the world, Alhaji Durodola urged Kwarans to always patronize the school for an all-round development of their wards.
